Tiger Woods ends an 11-year wait to claim a Major title as he wins the 2019 US Masters.
Woods made history at the Augusta National to beat fellow Americans Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Brooks Koepka with a two-under-par 70 to win on 13 under, claiming his 15th Major Title. Woods' last victory at this prestigious tournament was back in 2005 and marks 11 years since his last Major Title, which was at the US Open back in 2008.
"Coming up 18 I was just trying to make a five. When I tapped in I don't know what I did, I know I screamed. To have my kids there, it's come full circle. My dad was here in 1997 and now I'm the dad with two kids there."

In recent years Tiger Woods has struggled with back problems, meaning he missed out on the 2016 and 2017 Masters tournaments. Last year saw him return to The Open, where he finished joint sixth, before ending the season winning the Tour Championship earning his 8th PGA Tour title.
This year's Masters was full of drama, leader Francesco Molinari got two double bogeys and ended up finishing the tournament in fifth with 11 under. Ian Poulter struggled on the tricky 12th and hit his tee shot into the water meaning he finished the tournament 8 under. Northern Irelands Rory McIlroy had a tough week, the final round brought him to five under with McIlroy losing out on a career Grand Slam for the fifth time.
The golfing World watched as Woods approached the 18th, after messing up his second shot he was left short of the green, luckily he had a two-shot cushion and earned his victory on the second putt.
