The November Meeting returned to Cheltenham for an unmissable three-day meeting at the Home of Jump Racing.
The racing may have been behind closed doors, but that didn't dampen the thrill of the jump season as the jockeys and trainers took to the course at this famous horse racing venue. Read up on each day's results at Cheltenham Racecourse.
Countryside day kicked off the race meet, featuring six races including the Mucking Brilliant Paddy Power Handicap Chase and The Glenfarclas Cross Country Handicap Steeple Chase. Castle Robin lead the field in the first race, securing a win ahead of Silent Assistant, Magic Saint put on a brilliant performance in the Mucking Brilliant Paddy Power Handicap Chase to take the win from Fanion D’estruval. On day two of the meet all eyes were on the Paddy Power Gold Cup Chase, Coole Cody got off to a good start and led early, but mistakes around the first two-thirds of the course closed the gap, after the final jump he managed to extend away from the rest and cross the line first. The second day saved the best till last in the Mare's Standard Open National Flat Hunt Race as the front two, Ishkhara Lady and Elle Est Belle, couldn’t be separated by a photo in the darkness and it was declared a dead heat, with Jersey Lady way back in third.
The final day saw a brilliant opening race from The Big Breakaway and jockey Robbie Power as they secured a 10-length victory over Doc Penfro in second. It was a photo finish in the second race of the day as Ramses De Teillee and Yala Enki were almost inseparable as they crossed the line.
