Learn more about The Hundred, the new 100 ball cricket competition coming in 2020.

Following an action-packed summer of cricket a new competition has been introduced. The Hundred is a new 100 ball format that will take place across England and Wales with eight teams from seven cities taking part.

Players from around the world in addition to local icons will compete across the men and woman's fixtures throughout five weeks in the summer of 2020. The fixtures will take place at world-famous cricket venues including The Kia Oval, Lord's and Emirates Old Trafford.

A draft system will be used to select players in each team. In the first stage, teams will pick England stars and at least one England player from Test cricket will be on each team. Teams will also select one local 'icon' player for their team. In stage two, following a draft, teams will pick the rest of their players, where they will be allowed a maximum of three overseas players.
