Ever wondered what happens inside The Green Room on rugby event days?
We took The Green Room to the Guinness Six Nations with our ambassadors Mike Tindall, Lawrence Dallaglio and a whole host of celebrity faces to watch England take on Ireland in the Guinness Six Nations. Guests experienced a full day hospitality, banter/stories from the rugby legends themselves and watched the game from their VIP seats. How else would you want to watch the rugby?
This blog will show you what it’s like to be part of The Green Room Experience at Twickenham Stadium and why you should be at the next game with us for another awesome day. Join us in The Green Room at the next event.
The Green Room is known for attracting its fair share of celebrity friends and this game didn’t disappoint. From actresses to boyband members, The Green Room guests had the chance to mingle, ask and take photos with them all.
For the English rugby fans in the room, they were able to meet some of the 2003 winning Rugby World Cup squad including Mike Tindall, Lawrence Dallaglio, Clive Woodward and Iain Balshaw.
We were also joined by Tom Croft, Austin Healey and Tom Thorley who are all English rugby players. Plus, two Irish rugby players for our Irish fans, Jamie Heaslip and Peter Stringer.
Actress Katherine Kelly joined us with her father for his first ever rugby game, along with Boyzlife members Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy. The Green Room even had a few surprise visits from singer Niall Horan, Ronan Keating, Zara Tindall and Welsh rugby player Jonathan Davies.
The Green Room always welcomes one of the rugby players straight from the pitch and onto our stage, this time guests got to hear a post-match analysis with back-row player, Ben Earl.
EXCLUSIVE PANEL SESSIONS
As always, Mark Durden-Smith was the host for the day, introducing all the friends of The Green Room and our panel members.
First, Mark was joined on stage with Sir Clive Woodward and Lawrence Dallaglio who talked about their careers and gave an insight into their thoughts on the game, squad and the results.
Whist guests enjoyed their meals, Mike Tindall, Austin Healey, Peter Stringer and Jamie Heaslip all took to the stage where they shared stories from their rugby careers and got the room laughing.
After the game the panel returned to the stage with Ollie Thorley where they did a post-match analysis and answered questions from The Green Room guests.

THE GAME – ENGLAND v IRELAND
England got off to a promising first half after managing to secure two tries, two conversions and a penalty over Ireland finishing half-time on 17-0, the biggest lead against the Irish team in 18 years. Despite Ireland’s best efforts to correct their defensive errors from the first half, England carried their lead through to the final 80 minutes ending Ireland’s Grand Slam hopes.
