In our Meet The Team series, we catch up with the team at Hospitality Finder to find out more about the people behind your events. This week we spoke to Marketing Manager Jade Pearse.
What is your role at Hospitality Finder?
My role at Hospitality Finder is Marketing Manager which covers a variety of tasks including Event Branding, Social Media, Website Management, Print Advertising, Trade Shows & much more. Every day is so different depending on the event calendar. It’s hard to keep up sometimes!
Which events do you enjoy advertising the most & why?
When it comes to spreading the word about our events, nothing beats talking about The Green Room. It’s full to the brim of celebrity guests and let’s face it, everyone loves celeb spotting!
What events would you recommend for a high end/ low end budget?
If you’ve got cash to splash then I’d highly recommend travelling to Monaco for a long weekend to experience the Formula 1. There’s nothing quite like enjoying the racing action from a yacht!
If you’re wanting to save some money, I’d say it’s worth attending one of our celebrity banquets. For as little as £99 a head you can wine and dine with the biggest names in sport. We also offer exclusive company branding throughout so it’s worth the money in terms of networking.
Out of all the events we do what which one would you enjoy hospitality at the most?
I’ve always been a huge fan of seeing live music so any of our hospitality packages at The O2 or Royal Albert Hall has been an interest to me. Talking of the Royal Albert Hall, I’ve always wanted to experience hospitality at this beautiful venue for the famous Cirque de Soleil.
You have been to many events, which one has been your favourite so far?
In May 2016 I was fortunate enough to fly out to Monaco for the Formula 1. It was an amazing weekend for our clients full of luxury hospitality, even the rain couldn’t dampen spirits!
What is it like behind the scenes on event day?
Event days can vary depending where we are but match days at Twickenham are always a hectic one. We begin by visiting the stadium the day before a big match to pump up over 300 miniature rugby balls and set up the tables in The Green Room, Orchard Enclosure and Executive Boxes.
On match day, we’re usually at the stadium at least 2 hours before the clients turn up to make sure everything is set up to perfection, and we don’t leave until everything is packed away at the end of the day. Believe me, it’s a long day!
What events for Summer/Autumn would you recommend?
In the Summer, I’d recommend visiting the Henley Royal Regatta or a trip to the races. Drinks in the sun? Yes please!
For the Autumnal months, I’d recommend trying NFL UK for something a bit different, but if NFL isn’t your game, I’d highly recommend Rugby at Twickenham. The atmosphere is amazing and nothing beats the home crowd’s roar at the Home of English Rugby.
What would you recommend as the ultimate hospitality experience for our guests & why?
As always, it depends what takes your fancy but the top 3 I’d highly recommend are The Green Room (now available at Cheltenham!), VIP Suites at The O2 and Paddock Club at any F1 race. It doesn’t matter if you follow these sports or not, the hospitality is perfect for everyone.
Do we have any events that offer something a bit different?
All our events offer something special, but one that springs to mind is The Green Room. I know most of our staff have said this but it truly is something spectacular. Where else can you quiz the Head Coach of the 2003 World Cup Winning Team? It’s a great conversation starter to say that you spend match days with Sir Clive Woodward, Mike Tindall and Lawrence Dallaglio!
With The Green Room moving from Twickenham to Cheltenham, which elements of the suite are going to work well at the Festival?
Definitely having our ambassador Mike Tindall. He is not only a Rugby legend, he also has experience in horse racing so to have him in The Green Room at both Twickenham and Cheltenham will be a brilliant experience for our clients. And as with Twickenham, The Green Room always attracts a star-studded guest list so celeb spotting is on the cards and this works well anywhere!
