The Green Room returned to Twickenham for yet another amazing rugby match against Italy as part of the Guinness Six Nations Championships 2019.
Joining us in The Green Room this time round was Harry Potter’s James Phelps, WHAM member Andrew Ridgeley, Comedian Tom Davis and BBC sports presenter Sarah Stirk.
Guests were welcomed into drinks reception before taking their seats to enjoy the entertainment planned for the day. Mark hosted a Q&A with Sir Clive Woodward where he said that Eddie had picked a good team to take on the Italians and they know what’s coming! “England will beat Italy, there is no way England can lose this game!”

Joining Mark Durden-Smith on the panel were rugby legends Austin Healey, Lawrence Dallaglio, Mike Tindall and David Flatman. During their panel session they shared exclusive Green Room stories full of laughter including Austin’s 1998 South African ‘tour of shame’, Lawrence’s ‘3 things wrong’ story and even delving into Tindall’s royal life!
Moving onto how they thought the game would pan out, Tindall said that "they have an angry and very powerful team which should help them take victory against Italy."
Guests enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal before taking their seats in the stadium to watch the highly anticipated clash between England and Italy.

England walked all over their opponents Italy last weekend in their Guinness Six Nations clash. Despite Italy’s best efforts, by half time England had secured 31 points while Italy had 7. But the home team didn’t stop there, making it their most dominant victory of the Championship so far and maintaining their unbeaten record against the visitor, they scored an impressive 57 – 14 victory. During the game, Brad Shields scored his first two England tries on his first-ever Guinness Six Nations start.
England head coach Eddie Jones said: "It was a good response after Wales. We left a bit out there, there’s a bit disappointment with certain aspects but we are looking forward to Scotland."
With England’s triumphant score against Italy, this left the guests on a buzz as they returned to The Green Room. Mark welcomed the panel back to the stage where they gave their post-game analysis with special guest, comedian Tom Davis. Straight from the rugby pitch and into The Green Room, we welcomed Joe Lauchbury who talked about how the game went and the tactics that England played, which contributed to their incredible win against Italy.
