Following Johanna Konta’s success at the Miami Open last week, where she beat Caroline Wozniacki to become the first British woman to win the title, we take a look at her career highlights so far:

1)      She won her first ITF title in 2008, when she was only 16 years old

2)      She made her Wimbledon debut in 2012

3)      The same year she qualified for the US Open, where she recorded her first Grand Slam match win, this put her into the world’s top 150 for the first time

4)      In 2015 she made her Roland Garros debut

5)      She won the 2015 Vancouver singles and doubles title moving her into the world’s top 100

6)      Her first Grand Slam semi-final was at the Australian Open in 2016

7)      Konta reached the quarter finals in the Rio 2016 summer Olympics

8)      Since June 2015 she has moved from being 146th in the world to being ranked 7th

9)      Konta is currently Britain’s Woman’s No.1

10)   The 2017 Miami Open title marks the biggest win of her career
