Hospitality Finder returned to the home of England Rugby, for the second instalment of England's Old Mutual Wealth Series, and this was sure to be one of the most anticipated games of the tournament.
Hospitality Finder returned to the home of England Rugby, for the second instalment of England's Old Mutual Wealth Series, and this was sure to be one of the most anticipated games of Autumn Series. England faced fierce rivals Australia under the guidance of Head Coach Eddie Jones, the last time these two met at Twickenham England were victorious 37-21, but the challenge was on to do it again.
Hospitality Finder was back with The Green Room once again, joined by a whole host of celebs that the room is famous for. Guests got the chance to mingle with stars including comedian Jack Whitehall and his father Michael, legends of the music industry, and Green Room regulars, Simon and Yasmin Le Bon along and Andrew Ridgley.
Not only were we joined by these stars but The Green Room is famous for its panel of Rugby legends. Back in the room we had Hospitality Finder ambassadors Lawrence Dallaglio and Mike Tindall, joined by Green Room regular Austin Healey, special guest, Australian legend Rod Kafer and a quick hello from Will Greenwood. All hosted by the superb Mark Durden-Smith, they regaled the audience with tales from their rugby days and how they thought the match would play out.
This week’s culinary delights included:
- Smoked corn fed chicken aerated Caesar salad with Parmesan custard and confit tomatoes
- Black treacle roasted beef served with salt backed celeriac, kale and buttered baby carrot
- Bitter chocolate mousse with a raspberry mint coulis
- A selection of cheeses Including; Lincolnshire Poacher, Royal Bassett Blue and Bath Soft, served with quince jelly, bittersweet marmalade, oatcakes, fresh grapes and crispbreads
After the delicious four-course luncheon, guests made their way down to the game, where England stormed to another victory defeating the Wallabies 30-6. Try's from Elliot Daly, Jonathan Joseph, Jonny May and Danny Care, alongside two conversions from Owen Farrell and two penalty kicks, helped England secure the win.
Back in Then Green Room, with spirits high, our panel of Rugby legends were joined by England Captain Dylan Hartley. Hartley gave his review of the match and how he thought England were fairing in their Autumn Internationals.
Next up is England's final Old Mutual game against Samoa, where a win will leave them undefeated in their Autumn Series.
