2014, What a year!

Before we begin the countdown to 2015, we’re taking a look back at 2014 and everything it had to offer. Throughout the year there was a HUGE variety of sporting, music and celebrity events to look forward to and here we’ve put together our top 5.

1. Wimbledon
In at number one we’ve got Wimbledon. Who could forget this year’s five set battle between two of the world’s best players? World number 1 Novak Djokovic dominated the tournament to bring home his second success at the championship by beating Roger Federer in the men’s final.

2.  Twickenham
The home of English rugby gave us some mouth-watering games for the home team when they came up against some mighty opponents in 2014. England took on teams from across the world including South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and France just to name a few. One of England’s most memorable performances was against Wales with an impressive 29-18 win.

3. Cheltenham Festival
Year on year Cheltenham Festival gathers crowds from across the UK for four days of amazing horse racing action and 2014 was certainly no different. With a record number of spectators across the four days there was plenty to celebrate as the Cheltenham Gold Cup got underway. Coming out on top was Lord Windermere who is tipped to replicate his performance at next year’s event.

4. Concerts
Along with amazing sporting events, 2014 gave us some incredible musical tours across the UK. Venues such as London’s O2 Arena and the Manchester Arena were filled to capacity as artists including Pharrell Williams and Beyonce took the stage for thousands of ecstatic fans. To see all events in 2015 take a look at our concerts hospitality page.

5. Formula 1
Last but not least is Formula 1. Lewis Hamilton fought it out against Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg to come out on top and secure his second world championship. The pair kept audiences across the world glued to their seats as each race was another step towards the final in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

To be at all of these events and more in 2015 simply take a look at our events calendar for more information on how to enquire.

From everyone at Hospitality Finder we wish you a very happy new year and look forward to seeing you at many more events in 2015!
